Volunteers Needed For Iron Pigs!
Last year we did such a great job with the Iron Pigs Bark in the Park, they asked us to come back again this year. Our game is June 10th and you need to be there by 5 pm. We are done by the 2nd inning and you can stay, eat some great food (our treat) and watch the game. It really is a lot of fun and Pals does get a donation from them to make it worth it for us. Plus, it is great publicity and looks great on our “resume”. While your therapy dog is welcome to come, it can be hot and very overwhelming.
Children’s Summer Program – What Did The Dog Say?
Children between the ages of 4-8 are invited to join PFL for a one-hour interactive animal communication class on June 18th at 10 am. Participants will learn how a dog expresses itself with its tail and eyes and what it is trying to say. This one-hour workshop will be held at the PFL office at 35 Grove Ave in Devon. The goal of the class is to encourage empathy, understanding, responsibility and compassion toward our animals. The cost is $20 and is limited to 12 children. Register your child by emailing peggy@palsforlife.org
