Pals For Life Pets
PFL pets include dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. We also have a resident rabbit, Sprinkles, that participates on pet visits.
All pets must pass an evaluation in order to participate. Any breed of dog is eligible.
Other types of pets that have participated include ferrets, a duck (Mrs. Peabody), a miniature horse, a bearded dragon and a turtle (Turbo).
2026 Events
It’s A Howloween Yappy Hour
Come join Pals For Life and the Livewell Animal Hospital for a Howloween Yappy Hour on October 29th from 4 pm to 6 pm. This fabulous FREE event will feature a Howloween Photo Booth, Doggy Bobbing for Apples, Refreshments, Tours of the Facility and a special book signing by our very own Marc Alch with his new book “Bella The Loving Therapy Dog”. Books will be available for purchase that day. What an amazing holiday gift!
Costumes are encouraged and there will be a prize for the Best Costume. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some new friends and the staff at Livewell. Their location is 715 W. Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr.
The Power of the Paw – 2026 Annual Auction and Benefit
Join us on November 15th beginning at 11 am at the Inn at Villanova for our major fundraiser of the year.
The event will feature the always popular Duck Pond, two Wheels of Fortune and our amazing baskets! There are so many unique ones this year, we know you will find something you love to bid on. The highlight of the day will be stories from our volunteers, a retirement ceremony and thank you for our retiring therapy animals and a video which details our bittersweet year. We hope that you will be able to join us.
As you know, all proceeds from the Auction and Benefit go toward our pet therapy programs which continue to grow throughout all age levels. We are so proud of what we can provide to help so many people see the “Power of the Paw.” If you can’t make to the event, we hope you would consider bidding on a basket or just making a donation.
