Pals For Life Pet Visitation Programs
 For the lonely residents of nursing homes, mental health facilities, rehabilitation centers, and homes for the handicapped, holding a warm puppy or playful kitten provides the unconditional love they need so much.
Regular visits by the pets provide a happy event for these residents to look forward to. Petting and playing with animals makes them feel needed and provides physical exercise. To encourage this, we bring along pet toys, treats and brushes. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's having the most fun - the residents or the pets! Once the pets have spent time in the activity room, they can be taken on their special rounds to bedridden residents who could also use some warm, furry love.
