Pals For Life Pets

The furry participants in our programs consist of dogs, cats, kittens, rabbits, and guinea pigs...and even a turtle!

The animals have a wonderful time, for not only are they thoroughly spoiled during the visits, but literally hundreds have been adopted as a result.

Volunteers also bring their own pets on programs, once they have passed obedience and temperament tests. These pets provide continuity to the programs, as residents form lasting friendships with pets and their owners.

If you are interested in volunteering with your pet, please email Kristen@palsforlife.org. Dogs will need to know the following obedience: come, sit and stay. All pets must be comfortable being handled by someone they've never seen before in a place they've never been before. Pals For Life accepts all breeds of dogs. Pets can be any age. They must be current on their vaccinations.
